| A final stage shock retirement for the 205 Scholarship runaways
points leaders Simon Moore and Mason Mason
has opened up the championship fight as Tom Curtis
and Mike Harries took their second Scholarship
win on the Swansea Bay Clubman’s Rally. Whilst many people would have chosen a conservative approach in order to consolidate the championship lead Moore and Mason had decided to take the fight to their competitors knowing that a win on the Swansea bay event would have given them a 99% sure championship win with 2 rounds remaining. In hindsight that maybe a decision that they will regret as a no score toped with a win from 23rd old Curtis has now given Curtis a strong chance of battling for the championship and certainly takes the 2 competitors to the last round of the championship in order to decide the title. |
